WIVEC is bringing Embody Democracy to Green Bay — and we want you there.

Join us on October 20 from 5:30–7:30 PM at the Mauthe Center on the UW-Green Bay campus for an evening of art, civic action, and community. In partnership with the Mauthe Center, WIVEC is hosting an evening that brings together our community and local voices to celebrate democracy and build momentum for the fall midterm elections.

The evening will feature a free meal catered by Golden Spoon African Cuisine, voting resources and local organizations from the community, and a hands-on workshop experience that invites participants to explore identity, voice, and civic engagement through art-making and conversation with artists Niki Johnson and Taylor Kemnitz..

The art you create will become part of the artists’ next large-scale project on what it means to embody democracy.

All are welcome. Come as you are. You belong in this picture.
