Drop-In Handwriting the Constitution Session with Morgan O’Hara

  • Bush Art Center 100 Grant St De Pere, WI 54115 (map)

Our friends at St. Norbert College in De Pere are bringing artist Morgan O’ Hara to campus to highlight her Handwriting the Constitution project. WIVEC will be on site offering voter registration and voter education information.

Join artist Morgan O'Hara for a special drop-in session of Handwriting the Constitution, her ongoing social art project that invites participants to hand-copy the United States Constitution and other human rights documents. Working alongside the artist, participants are encouraged to engage deeply with the text through writing, fostering reflection on democratic values, civic responsibility, and the rights and freedoms these documents protect. No prior experience is necessary!

The exhibition Handwriting the Constitution, the campus visit of Morgan O'Hara, and all related public programs are made possible through the generous support of the Norman Miller Center for Peace, Justice, and Public Understanding.
