Appleton & Virtual Faith 250: A Multifaith Journey Through America's Founding Texts — Gathering 1

  • Prince of Peace Lutheran Church 2330 East Calumet Street Appleton, WI, 54915 United States (map)

Imagine rooms full of people from many faiths — sharing food, conversation, and fellowship — reflecting together on what makes this country worth celebrating. WIVEC and co-sponsor ESTHER Fox Valley are hosting community gatherings this June, leading up to July 4th, where neighbors read and discuss America's most inspiring founding words. It's a once-in-a-generation chance to counter division and build unity together.

You are invited to join the conversation in person in Appleton or virtually via Zoom from anywhere in Wisconsin. Our first Appleton gathering will focus on two texts: America the Beautiful by Katharine Lee Bates and The New Colossus by Emma Lazarus. For an overview of the entire series visit our WIVEC page.
